Brosh Pomade FAQ

What is Brosh pomade?

Brosh is a Japanese men's grooming brand known for water-based pomade. Every tin is made in Japan, and broshpomade.us is the official US retail and wholesale store.

Is Brosh pomade water-based?

Yes. Brosh's core pomades, including Original, Matte Finish Clay and Feather Weight Fiber, use a water-based formula that rinses out easily with shampoo.

Which Brosh pomade has the strongest hold?

Far East Hard has the strongest hold and is humidity-proof. Original Pomade gives a strong hold with a medium shine.

What is the difference between pomade and clay?

Classic pomade adds shine and suits slick backs, side parts and pompadours. Clay gives a matte, textured finish. Brosh Matte Finish Clay Pomade gives flexible hold with no shine, and Feather Weight Fiber Pomade adds a fuller look.

Is there an unscented Brosh pomade?

Yes. Brosh Unscented Original Hold Pomade has the same hold as the Original with no added fragrance.

How do I use pomade?

Start with dry or towel-dried hair. Warm a fingertip amount between your palms, work it in from back to front, then comb or shape your style. Since Brosh is water-based, add a little water to restyle during the day.

Does Brosh offer wholesale for barbershops?

Yes. Barbershops and salons can apply for a wholesale account on our Wholesale page, including 10 oz pro-size jars.
